VSee Clinic for Patient

I called in for a tooth infection, the wait was longer than I had hoped but it was also 4 a.m. I did finally get to talk to a doctor and he sent in a prescription for me. It really made it a lot easier than having to go and make an appointment or walk-in to have this taken care of. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the length of time that it took for a doctor to get on the call.

I don’t know where the negative reviews are coming from, maybe those ppl live in an area where they have terrible reception anyway and they are frustrated, I get that, just think the reviews need to be based on the app. I have had crappy service before and the app is only as good as your reception. This app is absolutely fine and provides direct access to providers while avoiding crowds during this time in the world. If you are hesitant about the app please know that I have never had any problems directly with this app the only time I have had any issues is when I have had low reception and that means all apps and all that rely on cellular/WiFi services presented “issues” , not this app alone. I like it!

I was asked by my one of my healthcare providers to download this app to do a video conference. I have an iPhone 11 and was able to get through the sign up stage with all my info. However, I have yet to be able to initiate a video conference. Also, whenever I begin a text style message, the app crashes after about 10 words. I made multiple attempts without success. I do NOT recommend this as a reliable way to access a physician or a mental health care provider given that this app could only add frustration to someone looking for support. If the developers do not address this other than “please contact us and open a ticket” (seriously?), providers and their clients are better off seeking something else for their needs.

I’ve had no problems connecting with my doctor online with VSee Clinic. Their iOS app is a small download and is very simple to use. I’m 57 and in need of frequent follow-up visits for medication checks for a chronic condition. I appreciate having a reliable means of distance medical attention given the current contagion risk of the COVID-19 pandemic. I also appreciate the core mission of its creators, who started this platform more than a decade ago to help make medicine more accessible to all.

It’s no wonder this app has the low rating it does. I attempted to use it for an appointment this morning but ultimately had to complete the appointment using the phone. I connected initially, but after about two minutes it just froze. The physician and I communicated by text with him telling me to leave and come back to the virtual waiting room, and I was able to connect again for about another two minutes. It was extremely frustrating and a total waste of our time. My physician ended by telling me that he’s yet to complete a full appointment using this app.
