Just downloaded the app. Had to register info multiple times and didn’t recognize info I had entered. Tried to order and wouldn’t bring up the menu. When I tried to click on other areas to launch the menu app crashed...twice. Time for a new release. I’ll order more if the app works. Easy value prop to improve it.

The app itself is fine. But the bartaco waitlist system, which is the whole purpose behind the app, is useless. The wait time they give you through the app when you go to put your name on the “wait list” isn’t real. And they don’t actually put your name on a list until you show up in person, and they won’t tell you what the real wait is or where you are on the list over the phone. So the waitlist, and therefore the app, is useless. Might as well take your chances walking in, or, better yet, go somewhere else.

Very confusing, I got on the waitlist before leaving my house. Wait time 45-60, arrived at Bartaco 30 minutes later, checked to see how much longer my wait would be I was told 45 minutes. I was never told I had to check in, I simply did so out of curiosity and then still had a 45 minute wait. Not sure the point of the app to get on the waitlist that clearly doesn’t exist except at the restaurant. Don’t offer the option if you’re not going to honor the system through the app.

Like plenty of others have said, this app is useless. I checked several times prior to meeting a friend for lunch and each time it said “tables available, come on down.” I got there only to be told it’s a 30 minute wait. When I asked what the point of the app is if it’s not right, I got a super snotty hostess telling me the app doesn’t update in accordance with their actual way time. Soooooo then what’s the point of this? Seems like a data grab to me.

Used the app to put my name on the wait list. Seems like a great idea, except discovered the secondary waiting list once we arrived. Host gave some BS story about how it reserved our place in line. Whatever! 😖 App said 15-20 minute wait, and after a 20 minute drive we checked in to another 30 minute wait. Say what! Not what we expected. Seems like a ploy to get my contact info. Don’t bother.
