South Block

The stores are all cash-free. I asked how you leave a tip and more than one employee told me to do it in the app, but I can’t find anyplace to indicate a tip amount. Is that something intentional? Other than that, I like the app and love South Block.

I love the almond butter bowl. However, the app does not allow substitutions and for some toppings, has no option to leave them off completely. And there is no place to type in additional notes. Also, if you want to sub one topping for another, you will be charged for an additional topping. I think that’s pretty unfair for an already expensive product. For the price they charge, you should have the option to be as specific as you want without being overcharged and still have the convenience of using the app.

Easy to use app and very convenient, but it does not give you the option to select a time preference, which can be very inconvenient, since most South Block locations to not have easy parking access.

App is fine and works well for me, but anytime I order through the app I get upwards of 70 (!!!) notifications. They go away as soon as I open the app, but it’s out of control.

The app doesn’t accept its own gift cards. Prevents your most loyal customers (who receive gift cards frequently) from pre-ordering through the app.
