The app had been doing what it was supposed to, probably worthy of 3.5 stars, because it HAS to go through the mobile banking app to operate, instead of optionally working as a standalone app. However, as of the last update, The thing keeps going on a loop trying to establish a secure connection, or so it says. I know it is the app because I’ve tried multiple networks, and even removing and reinstalling to no avail.

This app saved me from potential major damage. My card number was stolen, most likely from a skimmer. Got a notification of an illegal charge in another state. Luckily the charge was small. I was able to immediately deactivate the card. Three more charge attempts were made on the card. All were denied! Haha, KMA scammers! I’ve noticed now the notifications of transactions are instantaneous in most cases. Before it took about a minute or two. One feature I would like to see is the ability to add my unsecured Visa card.

This app is perfect. You can customize push notifications to notify you of things that matter to you most. Mobil check deposits are quick and easy. Transferring funds internally is fast and simple. Managing all VyStar accounts like auto loan and credit card, from the app is easy. Card control makes to easy to turn debit cards on and off. It’s a one stop app to take care of all of your banking needs. I’m super happy with the app and how it performs.

This app used to work on my iPhone 10s. Now the only way I can use this app is on my iPad. My iPad works great but my iPhone just keeps saying establishing a secure connection. Please wait. It just keeps saying that. Now it won’t work on my iPad either. So now I can no longer access my card. Not my iPhone and iPad now say establishing a secure connection. Please wait. Tired of waiting. Need to go back to the old version or fix this one! Uninstalled the vystar and the card control apps. Still not working. This app is useless. Have not been able to use it sense the update. It never establishes a secure connection. When is this going to be fixed??

First off why do we need a separate app to control our cards? Every other major financial institution manages to do everything in one app. And now we can’t log into the card control directly but have to log into the main app first and access it from there? Wasted time and wasted steps when all I want to do is be able to quickly secure my card from unauthorized activity.
