THE OUT Car Rental

I seen an advert for this, maybe on Instagram, and I thought I would sign up and try it out. I have my own car, but I thought it would be nice to hire a disco sport for the weekend and take the dog to the Suffolk coast. Registration was simple, although I had a bit of difficulty with my driving licence being verified automatically because the issue date on the front was only a month ago (I moved house). Liquids insurance requires you to have held your licence for at least a year. I contacted support via chat within the app and explained that I had held my licence for 6 years, supported with a picture of the back of my licence. They manually approved the licence and my booking was confirmed. £295 for 48 hours may seem like a lot, but you get everything included and there is no sneaky refuelling charges, if you don’t return it full, they fill it and you pay the market rate for the fuel. Drop off was great, the chap was friendly and helpful, explained various features about the car, we did a walk around and he took pictures of any marks on the car. Pick up was easy as well, guy turned up, handed over the keys, signed on his phone and done. Liquid - maybe you could amend your automated licence verification to take the valid from date on the back of the licence, not that it caused any great issue.

Living in the city, we tend to use public transport most of the time. However now with two kids we do like to get out and explore. I have to say using the service was fantastic. The car arrived on time (even early), and was picked up on time. There was no fuss and the ability to get baby / booster seats preloaded and for free makes this the perfect service when you would like to get away for the weekend but don’t necessarily need a car all of the time. Am already looking forward to the next trip away.

Easy, quick and everything is included. I ordered a Range Rover Velar and it was immaculate. Delivered to my place and the handover was great and over in 5 mins. The car felt like it was mine for 2 days and I loved it. The service was a cut above and removed all the anxiety you normally have with traditional car rental services as there are no hidden costs. They even refilled the car for me at market rate and provided the receipt. I will definitely use the service time and time again!

We hired a Range Rover sport for 5 days over our Wedding weekend. Our Wedding was in a very rural part of Somerset, so there was plenty of driving involved ferrying people around, not to mention the 4 hour drive from London. Having the Range Rover sport made it all an absolute pleasure. The best and most comfortable car I’ve ever driven! Great service from the Out. The car was delivered and collected exactly on time, with very clear instructions on the process. We will definitely be using them again!!

Awesome app, service and experience! The booking process is super easy, the car selection is great, service was super fast (over a weekend) and they had fixed all the things I hate about traditional car rental companies. One simple price that includes delivery to your location, insurance and unlimited mileage. You don’t need to fuel the car up at the end of your journey - they do it for you and charge at cost. Highly recommended!
