The Smart MFG app launches a superhero-augmented-reality experience. It guides you through manufacturing a drone from design and 3D printing to assembly and quality testing. Move and tilt your device to see AR capabilities in action. Use the app to scan the target images from the printed pages of the Smart Manufacturing comic book, available through the app and at select MFG Day events, brought together nationally by the National Association of Manufacturers and the Manufacturing Institute. If you don’t already have the comic book you can email it to yourself from within the app for printing in either grayscale or color. Getting started is easy: 1. Open the Smart MFG app 2. Scan pages of the Smart Manufacturing comic book to launch the AR experience 3. Choose your drone material and performance metrics in the design review 4.
