I want to use this app as a shopping list, but it seems to be created for online ordering which is fine. If you want this to be an online ordering app, market it as such and give me a better app to use for in store shopping. Aisle Sorting: Please allow the aisles to be sorted the way I move around the store. I can see a store map, but you won’t let me sort by the way I shop because your aisles have numbers and letters and you sort by numbers first and letters last, but that’s not how I shop. Master List: I want to create a master list of things I use in my household then I want to create a list for the current shopping run off that master. Please allow easy list creation off my master not the entire store. I use the Shopper app and am much more pleased with the generic items than cumbersome Woodman’s app with the numerous list of items that comes up when I type in a product name (peanut butter - every single brand and every size and every product in the store that remotely has peanut butter in it - yikes, I just want peanut butter). I do use the scan feature which is speedy and great. I do acknowledge that setting up any shopping app the first time is a lengthy process for the consumer, however if I have to search products each time I make a list that’s not a time saver for me. Still working on understanding and getting this app to do what I want it to do. I look forward to improvements in the future.

I love Woodman’s and their massive selection, but they’re always so busy I thought using the app would be helpful. The search function does not work well and can not find products unless you type the exact name. If you don’t know how to spell something, there is no predictive help or guidance. Products don’t seem to be able to be ordered by type, or where they are located in the store. If I’m going to use a list in store, I want it ordered by where items are located, not by what was most recently added or alphabetically. Finally and most frustrating; I would like to set up delivery, but every time I try to check out, I get an error that I can’t because certain product items need to be selected by weight or quality. I’ve selected the items in the only way the app allows me to do. So I’ve spent two hours making a full grocery list (which was frustrating due to the search function) and now I can’t order due to this error and the list won’t help me in store because it won’t list in an order that makes any sense.

This is a nice app to have if you shop at Woodmans. We used another app for years and loved it primarily because of the sync. We could share a grocery list and add to it. Whomever went to the store had the same list. It wasn’t store specific. This app does sync. Better is the scanning feature. Just scan product container and it adds to your new shopping list. Can’t find something on a isle, search for it and it will tell you what isle is you have your specific store selected. I think one of my favorite features is we sort the list by isle. We did it in our old app, but this is store specific. Coupon clipper? Not us, but in this app we see coupons in our shopping list on items we are already buying. Press a button and clipped. Just type your account at checkout and coupons automatically applied. I actually love this because we save on what we are buying already. Minor issues, nothing a person can’t get think though. Sometimes the isle location is off, but staff are moving, changing and stocking so app or no app going to happen. Search is good and improving. It’s a function and needs to be enhanced a little, but again a little thought. We love this app! It’s store specific, love scanning and it beats a manual list on phone or paper. Great job Woodmans!

I love this company so I want to love this app. With multiple small kids it’s hard for me to go grocery shopping so this was a wonderful find. However if you don’t use the exact wording of a product they claim to not have it. Half of the products don’t contain pictures so with so many products in the store it’s hard to be sure you’re selecting the best one. Items that are out of stock don’t show up as such until it’s too late to adjust the order so if it’s something you need you have to find your own substitution and make a new order, costing a minimum of $55 with order requirements and the convenience fee. The products are already more expensive because they’re higher quality but I may have to just deal with lesser products, a longer driving time and save my money by going back to Walmart. Update for reply from developer: I have employed the option of selecting back ups for my products and after selecting boneless skinless chicken breast and picking every single other non-frozen option for boneless skinless chicken breast of every size and brand that there would still be none in the entire store.

I want to love this app, but the search function needs major improvements. I attempted to locate Za’atar seasoning and though I typed it in exactly as they have it, zero results were found. Even just typing in part of the spice name of “tar” did not return the spice, which they most definitely had in stock and which I found on the app after searching through what seemed like thousands of spices (I’m not complaining about the number of unique products as it’s my major love of Woodman’s). A secondary, yet just as annoying issue with this app, is I can’t order anything online for less than a pound (I.e. produce such as garlic, shallots, or other small items). Nobody I know needs an entire pound or more of garlic for normal usage. Unfortunately, until this app is improved, I will have to go to the store in person, the old-fashioned, non-tech way, to purchase any of the specialty items for which I have a need and/or smaller portions of goods only offered in bulk under the current database set up. Fix these and I’ll be an avid app user and a more frequent shopper at Woodman’s.
