4.0PRESTO E-Tickets, a new convenient and touchless way to pay your transit fare, are now available for Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) and Durham Region Transit (DRT) customers. Buy and store your E-Tickets in the app and activate them right before you board. Once activated, the E-Ticket is your proof of payment and your transfer. E-Tickets are ideal for occasional riders and visitors or those who may have forgotten their PRESTO card. They can also be used for group travel – you can buy and activate as multiple tickets at once if traveling with friends or family. PRESTO E-Tickets are currently available on Hamilton Street Railway and Durham Region Transit. They are valid for travel on a single transit agency and do not count towards any loyalty programs, discounted transfers or co-fares that may be in place for PRESTO card or paper ticket users.
