Pottery Barn

It’s an amazing app to create your registry for your wedding, but I wish that when I want to edit or delete something, it would take me back where I left off in my list, instead of it having to scroll from the top again. I’ve been curating my registry for about a year now (getting married October 2020), so I’ve changed my mind on things over the year, and that’s what I’ve noticed.

I am okay with having a registry at Pottery Barn but I’ll stick to adding things using their mobile site or going on an actual computer. The app is terrible and has been a headache. Every time I have gone to use the app it has signed me out and then I can’t sign back in. It never recognizes the log in information (that I always double check). I’ve had to delete and download the app again to be able to sign back in. When it works it’s great, but it rarely functions well for me. You’re better off just using the mobile site.

The first time I opened the app it worked well. The next time I tried to look at it, it wanted me to log back in. It kept saying my account info was wrong, so I reset my password. It still didn’t recognize my login information. I can login just fine on the mobile site or online, but whatever reason it always says my login isn’t recognized. It is very annoying, and it makes having the app useless. You would think pottery barn would have a higher quality app.

Aside from the lack of an automatic login feature, this app doesn’t let you actually ADD stuff to your registry! You can click the “add to registry” button all you like, but the only real option is to “add to cart”. So, the only thing this ap is really good for is seeing what has been purchased and what hasn’t. Annoying, irritating, and a waste of space on my phone.

This app is trying to be a desktop site from 2004. Like the other users have said, I’m consistently logged in and the logged out. The navigation with the back and forth arrows is difficult to manage on a phone. Top down it’s messy to move through. The mobile site is easier to use than the app.
