This is the easiest fuel watch app to navigate and appears to face the most users regularly updating prices. My only complaint is that you can’t upload prices if over 3km away. I want to upload my price paid when at home rather than on the forecourt since at the cheapest fuel stops, there’s usually someone wanting to take your space ASAP. I would be able to upload more frequently if the distance was increased to say 10km.

I have used this app for some time. I also use another which is much easier to use. Recently, as soon as I start using the app and go to update prices, I get a full screen advert. There is an X in the top left of the screen, to close it. But the add will not close. You have to press the X a number of times, which is very frustrating. This app relies on people like me who regularly update prices. Without individuals updating petrol prices, this app is worth nothing to its users. If I keep getting confronted with a full screen add, which refuses to close, I will no longer update prices on this app and will no longer use it.

I am constantly confronted with incorrect information or wrong prices. In Brisbane over the past few months there is a user updating every single price everywhere. Can’t remember the first account but the second account was sourlilb and now it’s changed to broncofan. Constantly updating incorrect prices. Updating prices of fuels the servo does not stock. Makes this app rather useless if you can’t rely on the data. You need to make a restriction so prices can only be updated if you are at the servo and perhaps apply a limit of updates per day. Or possibly remove the fuel vouchers so there is no longer an incentive for people to cheat the system.

I follow the price trends here in Adelaide with the latest prices noted in yellow ... Shame there are not more quotes. Still it is also very handy to compare latest prices in the other main states - Vic or NSW to understand the relativity of local prices. right now we are being gouged by circa 15 c per litre for unleaded. Also interesting to see how good the independent stations are against the the coles woollies duopoly. Great new app keep up the good work, and please encourage more stations to publish their prices!. Up to now this has been a very useful app, but it's time for some attention!!. In particular can we please have a price graph for diesel, the graph function is so useful in when to start looking for a good price. Yes it is a rough guide but when it's well down on the graph time to start looking!. Otherwise, thanks for the app, it's a real money saver!.

This app appears to get a 'live feed' from almost every service station in my city (Brisbane) at least a few times a day. It doesn't rely upon users driving past and punching in the advertised price on a regular basis. Also Petrol Spy adds new petrol stations when they are built. GasBuddy may have a more slick looking app, but if isn't as efficient, up-to-date or reliable as Petrol Spy. Plus, no-one calls It 'gas' in Australia 😁
