Penji

I first encountered Penji last semester, and since I was struggling in my physics class, I decided to give it a shot. Boy am I glad that I did. I was immediately matched with an awesome tutor who helped me throughout the semester. The fact that the tutor is a student who took the class I was in at the same school made all the difference. Getting help from professors or TAs often isn’t really that effective for me, because they learned the materials for themselves so long ago that they can’t relate to what I was going through. Penji’s tutors remember the struggle, and are able to relate to you and share all the tricks that they figured out for themselves to gain a better understanding. That, combined with the fact that Penji is by for the most affordable private tutoring option around is more than enough to warrant five stars in my book!

I am first and foremost a tutor for Penji and I love it. It connects me with students in all disciplines and allows me a great environment to develop my teaching skills. I also find it an excellent way to brush up on material that may have fallen by the wayside. I have also been a student of Penji and found it an extremely useful resource for affordable private tutoring. The tutors have great attention to detail and are very good at explaining when needed or stepping back and letting me figure it out myself if they think it would be more beneficial. I am also very excited for the study groups feature!

After going to office hours and peer tutoring centers with little success, I tried out Penji and it saved my grades! The tutors are always ready to help and easy to talk to. If I don’t understand something the first time, they’re great at reexplaining to really get the info across. I was about to pay $40 for a private tutor, but Penji is way cheaper and even better quality. I’m excited to try their group sessions next!

Penji is a great and easy way to get help in a subject matter! It’s super easy to use and makes finding a quality tutor a breeze. As a tutor, I have seen so many students improve their grades and understand a subject better. Would definitely recommend Penji to anyone who is struggling in a course or just simply has a few questions and would like to understand their course better!
