Oven Update App

I have a GE Profile range model # PGS960SEL1S. When trying to setup the WiFi, it redirects to this app because the oven needs a software update. However, the oven SSID is GE_MODULE_XXXX, not GE_OVEN_XXXX like the app is apparently looking for. The app developer needs to update the app to work with other models, or someone needs to tell owners what to do, instead or sending to an app that won’t help. Very poorly executed support.

I’ve not been able to update my oven after spending hours on this app. The ge kitchen app keeps sending me to this app to add my oven. It gets stuck on "Looking for your appliance" forever and I don't know if my oven is connected to my home network and downloading the update or is this app downloading the update and sending to my oven.

Have not been able to use the app to control the oven for over a year. This is the third iteration of a Haier app that is rife with intermittent and unreliable problems. Support cannot fix and will not cover WiFi module replacement. GE will not be getting my money for a ‘smart’ appliance again.

This app needs to be fixed if the manufacturer does not wish to waste the time of their customers and lose market share. Very poor consumer experience.

Just like the other 1 star the app goes in this loop. After connecting to the oven and switching to my WiFi network it just sits there with the spinning wheel.
