Five Guys: Order Ahead

Apps are supposed to save time. Not the Five Guys app. The status of the burger never changes. Mine said in progress as it was ready. Mainly, the staff don't call out the order number which I've experience both time. The web orders generate different numbers and both occasions the staff just leave web orders on the side without calling them out. Result? Cold food. It's impossible to get the attention of the staff because they don't want to speak to customers. Just serve the numbers out. I have used the app twice and same experience both times. So sadly, 1* for the Five Guys app. If the strategy in store is sorted, great but unfortunately it renders the app useless as it's quicker to queue and get your order warm and called out.

Quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever opened on my iPhone X. I’m not hating on it because they couldn’t be bothered to design it so it makes full use of the screen; it simply doesn’t function correctly on an iPhone X. The terms and conditions that you must accept load half off the screen - good luck trying to use those in court when you have to accept the conditions but can’t read them. The graphics look very low quality - like someone knocked this interface up in 10 minutes using Microsoft Paint. Seriously, you people need to sort this junk app out.

This “app” just displays the website. But it looks far worse and is slower than the website.

Same functionality as the website so what’s the point of having the app ?

Just visit the Five Guys web site. The web mobile experience works great. The app stopped worked about a year or so ago.
