The old app allowed me quick access, no loading time, no issues at all. The new app takes 6-7 attempts before it will let me in. It keeps saying “authentification failed.” It seldom accepts my fingerprint now. And when it finally does open, the “loading” takes as long as the 6-7 entry attempts. Seriously annoying. Then when I finally get in and I try to move from account to account, it will often give me blank pages or error and gets stuck. So guess what? Then I have to try to log back in. And for the record, no, I haven’t moved, I’m not having trouble with any other apps. Yes, I restarted my phone but that doesn’t help either. Sorry, I’m really not happy at all with the new app. I hope an update is pending.

I used to use main source bank until FFB bought them out. The main source app was great. The FFB is horrible. The bill pay takes forever and a day to use and almost impossible on a smart phone. You have to pay each bill individually. On Main source you could plug all your numbers in for every bill then hit the pay button one time. Also not really an app issue but for bill pay you have to withdraw the money 2 days in advance in order for it to be on time. Example bill is due the 15th you have to schedule it for the 13th. PITA if it’s over a weekend. Main source you simply put the due date of the bill in and hit submit and it was always on time. I would hope the app gets redone so it’s more up to date with the 21st century. I’m using FFB only because I was already at main source but might switch soon.

My husband has been banking with FFB for years. The app is horrible. It takes FOREVER for transactions to pend. After they post, they sometimes pens again for no reason. The available balance doesn’t always reflect your actual available balance, it’s more common for our available balance (too high or too low) to be off because pending and posted transactions are always a mess. To avoid that, you have to basically not use your bank account for a week and, let’s be real, as a family of 4, that’s impossible. The entire point of online banking is the convenience but this app is not convenient at all despite the “updates” they are constantly making. If you bank here, switch or keep a register and calculator on hand always.

Make sure you have administered a hefty dose of (prescribed) Ritalin and say 72 Hail Marys before opening this application. The app works about once every decade, and when you finally get the miracle of an opportunity to access your account, it will never display the accurate balance. I’m stuck waiting weeks on a transaction or deposit to clear through, for a transaction that typically takes 15-30 minutes to complete. (As it does with all other banks I’ve had an account with). God forbid you need to reach out to customer support. After you complete the triathlon, personal temperament test and get a medal in the olympics of “press 1 for English”, you are told that the support center is closed. No worries though, they’re actually open about 7 minutes per month. First financial is in 100% honesty the single-handed worst banking experience since humans used seashells and offspring as currency. I’m going to cancel my account and create a new one Monday. (I’d go tomorrow, however they have preexisting commitments for their weekly vacation that every soul in the company takes on saturdays and sundays). Happy Banking!

If I could give it zero stars I would. The app itself isn’t very useful because it doesn’t update in real time.. only thing it’s good for is saving you 3$ a month because they force you to use it or charge you for a paper statement every month. I like the good old fashion ways tho. But the bank itself is plain awful and I’m switching banks ASAP. They messed my money up on more than 5 occasions and I’ve only been banking there since March. They’ve froze my account twice due to me spending too much in one day, of my own money. And now I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for them to release my paycheck due to it being put into another account on accident. I’m fed up of not having MY money when I need it. Do not use this bank or this app!!!
