Fill it Forward

I love this idea and I really like seeing how using a one use plastic bottle has an impact on so many different things. A lot of people think if they recycle it’s fine, but don’t think about what it took to make it (or that a lot of recycled things don’t actually get recycled). 1) I would prefer if it was a key chain or something rather than a sticker. I have a few reusable water bottles that I switch between. Plus, I don’t know how well it would keep up after washing it a few times. A lot of water bottles I own have some sort of handle that I could put a keychain on and switch between them. Right now I keep it in my wallet and I often forget to use the app 2) the app can be really slow. I was just in Utah visiting the national parks and was excited to use a reusable water bottle and mark it with the app, but it didn’t always work. I don’t know if it needs cell service, which was very hard to get in the parks. I can understand needing service for it to be counted towards a water project, but it would be helpful to log it and have it get uploaded once service is available. 3) the interface isn’t the most user friendly 4) also one tiny tiny thing, I noticed that there is a difference cups and bottles and I don’t know if it’s that my company only paid for bottles and not cups, but I was confused

I love the idea of this and I bought stickers for my whole family but every time I try to open the app it just gives me a blank, white screen and then crashes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, I’ve restarted my phone and nothing is helping. I see crashing has been a problem in the past. Hopefully it’s resolved soon because I really really want to try this app.

I think that this app and bottle is a very good idea, since we really need help using less plastic. Also, I think the fact that you can see how much emissions, plastic, power and others you’ve saved helps people know they’re making a difference. I think it would be cool if you made a thing in the footprint so you can see the entire world’s improvement with all the reuses. Just a suggestion though

Love the concept of this and it works awesome with my water bottle! However, I have a Cupanion reusable coffee cup that says to scan for rewards and the barcode just won’t scan. I know it’s not my camera or the lighting that’s causing the problem because it works perfectly fine in the same conditions with my bottle. Is this something that can get fixed? I’d love to start reusing the coffee cup.

I love the idea and practicality of this. I work at Texas Tech, and we got these bottles as an appreciation. I’m trying to make a conscious effort of using less plastic, and re-using as much as possible. Thank you for creating something that can help our future and world be a more sustainable place.
