Farmer's Fridge

Only ordered 1 time but the salad was very fresh and tasty. One star deducted for 2 reasons, the first is that you can't order through the app, it'd be convenient to be able to purchase your food before getting down to the machine then just do a mobile pick up. The second reason being that the amount of salad dressing included wasn't enough for me. With that being said this is a great concept. Hope to see you guys make some updates to the app in the near future!

I had a very quick layover at Chicago and I was starved. I had enough time to get something quick, just. A women in front of me stopped in front of a farmers fridge kiosk. I almost walked by, but decided to stop. I looked at the vending machine. Inside it there was real food. I got a salad better than any I’ve gotten in a good restaurant over the past year. It was all packaged up so I could carry it on the plane. What an unexpected treat. Real food that was good for me. I wish they were on the East Coast. Chicago you are soooo lucky.

I'm personally a big fan of Farmers Fridge. The app is easy to use & you can save the fridge closest to you to see what options you'll have for the day. I enjoy that each salad comes without meat, as it allows vegetarians to order with ease. Each salad is loaded with great taste & unique products from local vendors. I can't wait to see how Farmers Fridge continues to take off!

We have this in our building and the salads look fresh (for the most part), so I tried it. It was very fresh tasting, but could have used s bit more of the star of the salad, smoked cheddar. Keeping these fridges freshly stocked must be a huge challenge. I saw some brown avocado, which browns quickly anyway, but everything else looked very fresh. The app does a good job keeping you updated on what's currently in the fridge. One improvement needed is making the information easier to read. The nutritional information is too small to read. If it was more like a photo I could resize it as needed. I have an iPhone 6S. Lower the prices a bit and I'll get it more often.

My favorite part of getting lunch from the ‘fridge’ is putting it into the recyclable tray while my colleagues pass by saying ‘Wow, that looks good! Where did you get it?’ The freshness is consistent, the flavors satisfying and price is terrific! I love earning greens too, so some lunches are free:) Thank you for creating great lunch choices!
