The location of the facility is in Surprise,AZ. It is pretty pathetic when anyone you talk to says, “ I don’t know”. Even the manager. And, this manager doesn’t even know to greet members when they come in, while they are there, or when they leave. He sits at the front desk every time I’ve been there and ignores the members, but has time to stand there, look past you, and chat/laugh with the young gals who guys who check you. Further, many of the staff Is just standing around and you have to interrupt someone to ask a question. Rarely, rarely do I see anyone clean. They have done absolutely nothing, that I have been told by staff at the gym I work out, to add an additional layer of disinfection with the serious spread of the Coronavirus, especially in the training area where there is not even a bottle of hand sanitizer. People, one right after the other, touch the equipment during training sessions scheduled nearly every half hour. I can do my part and be proactive, but the behavior of others does not guarantee they are washing their hands or using hand sanitizer. This virus spreads through contact, so why doesn’t Esporta set up areas throughout the gym with a disinfecting spray and paper towels ~ expect each member to use it, before and after using the equipment, LIKE PLANET FITNESS does, and make it mandatory for the trainer to use a paper towel and disinfecting spray to wipe down the equipment after each client is done with their training session? The trainers, I’ve seen, do seem to have this time as I see them standing around, talking, sitting at a side table, and act like they could care less they are even there to do their job! I’m sorry but this gym has a lot to do to improve a positive experience for the members and keep this gym safer in an environment where people come in close contact with each other and the equipment. After all, we are at the gym to improve our health, right??? Esporta could be doing more to provide an extra layer of protection for its members and the overall community. I hope someone in this company, say the CEO, steps up and does the right thing for its members. Surely from the expensive memberships, training fees, and class fees there is room in the budget to buy disinfectant sprays and paper towels, and trash cans to set up and serve as stations which are more visible and plentiful to reassure its members that they are doing what they can to keep the gym and its members safer. Thank you.
