eShakti – Fashion, Fit & Style

The app is limited in selection. I can still find more when I go to the actual website. I’m glad my bag populates in the app from the website though. Also, you can’t do fabric customization in the app, which is a real inconvenience since I’ve bought so much and now really only ever completely customize all my orders. I wish they around offer fabric customization within the app. Even on the website that function is glitchy though. Still, I’m glad it exists and I remain a loyal customer. Lastly, I wish they would offer more knit patterns and different colors other than navy, red, and black. There is very little outside those color schemes.

I really like the eShakti website. I always struggled to find dresses that actually fit so I was so happy to find this company. Sometimes dresses take longer to arrive than promised but they send updates when that happens and if you tell them when you need something by, they make an effort to send your items by then (within reason). The app, however, blows. I continue to use it because you get an extra 10% off if you do but it is terrible. The search function has never worked for me so I have to scroll through everything to find what I want. Sometimes the app just doesn't load and there are always random items that won't load and will often cause the app to freeze. If you like one particular style of dress but not the color in the picture, there's no way to see all the other colors that dress comes in. The slide things used to enter your measurements are ridiculously difficult to use. It took me several minutes to enter my info because the stupid bar wouldn't stop on my number. I guess it's worth getting the app to save the 10% (especially if you buy as many dresses as I do) but just be prepared for it to be a pain.

We used eShakti to order dresses for my bridesmaids who are not easily accommodated anywhere else, as well as my mother. This has has saved so much trouble. This is the only website I found that accommodates all shapes and sizes and allows you to customize every aspect of the clothing for a reasonable price. In addition, because of delays my mother was not going to receive her dress until after the wedding. After contacting the company her dress was expedited and arrived very quickly! So grateful for the wonderful customer service and we will be using eShakti in the future!

I use to like eShakti and use to order from them a lot. I took a break when I was pregnant and when I returned to order again, the return poly has been completely changed and they no longer back up their products with a satisfaction guarantee. I returned a extremely poorly fitting dress (it appears that they didn’t even both to look at my custom measurements even though I paid $7 extra dollars for customization - I have bought things off the rack that fit better). I am now being charged my shipping costs and even though they notified me that they received my item weeks ago, I still do not have my gift card to purchase something else. This will be the last time I take a chance on eShakti - I can purchase clothes that don’t fit close to home and get a full refund if I decide to return them.

Let me preface this by saying I am NOT an “off the rack” kind of girl... I’ve always found it difficult to find clothes to suit my thick AND short frame. So as you can imagine, I went into this fully expecting to be disappointed by my purchase. But I went for the safest and cheapest purchase I could find and was pleasantly surprised! My dress fit perfectly, the material was good, and best of all, it arrived on my doorstep in exactly ONE WEEK. You guys have definitely found a loyal customer in me!
