DriveU: Hire Driver for Car

Am from Mumbai, my sincere request is please tell your drivers to keep some cash in their pokets, every driver , almost i have taken more than 15 trips in last 4 mnths and every driver says he dont have cash so he don't give me change like if i need to pay 440 rs he don't have 60 rs change.. if i need to pay 580 he dont have 20 rs change... I realised they say because we tell them to keep the change as we dont have option... like this am paying more money and am not liking it..... and as you mentioned in your website drivers are not using seat cover and floor paper While driving... also in my last trip i booked driver for 2.45pm for 3 hrs, he came at 1.15 pm .. i told him that i start at my mentioned time because my dr appointment was at 4:o clock.. he said he will wait.. but at the end of the trip he charged me from 1o clock ... If he comes 1 or 2 hrs before my required time it is his wish i am no way responsible to pay... I request the management to inform the drivers regarding this...

Most of the times drivers come on time but ask us to cancel the booking and further assure us that they will drop us at the location at the Same charges of the application, I Am not at loss but the management is. Few of them act as if they forgot to start the trip and at the end of the trip they stay and stop the trip in 5 mins and ask us to pay the total amount even though you get a message asking to pay far less The developer should be cautious about things like these Better give an otp at the start And end of the trip to ensure that these clever drivers can’t fool the company they work for

Everything was perfect. The driver was on time, polite, kept to himself, didn’t crib or mumble when I made him wait to parcel some food. But the only thing which I find strange is that, the drivers seem to be more worried about finding a transportation back after dropping us. And they openly talk about it. This invariably makes us feel guilty, cuz it’s late in the night and on humanitarian grounds, we end up getting dropped somewhere on a main road from where he can find some transportation back. Honestly, on a professional note, we shouldn’t be worried about their return, we should be concerned about us getting dropped to our gate without any mishaps. That’s the reason we hire a driver. So please make sure you figure out their transportation back after dropping. Most of your drivers are scared stiff if they have to come a little off the main road.

I had availed hire a driver service from DriveU to drop my daughters in college and office due to the bandh called by Trade unions. Right from the time I logged in to give my request to getting confirmation of my booking and the information about the driver who is assigned and addressing my queries about checking the credentials of the driver and the driving experience of my daughters, everything went off well seamlessly and without any glitches. The best part of this service was also the feature of being able to track the driver once he had left from my place till he came back home. Great job. I live in Mumbai. I booked a driver because I had a wedding in the family and many guests were flying in from out of town. We had a spare car but driver hence we thought of hiring a driver on a day basis so that our out of town guest can travel easily in the city. I booked a driver 12 hours in advance. First I was assigned one driver but then that quickly cancelled and was assigned another, Mohammed Shoaib. I reached 1 hour 20 mins later than the scheduled time. Once he reached, he had to take the car to my cousin’s place which is around 25-30 mins from where he picked up the car. He too over an hour. We found out that the driver was new to the city and didn’t know any route. We had booked him for 12 hours but canceled in less than 6 hours cause of the drivers incompetency to perform his tasks. Once cancelled I told him that I will speak to the customer care and then make the payment cause I’m really disappointed in your services and am not willing to pay for the entirety of the 12 hours. He constantly kept calling and harassing me to make the payment. I wish the company took more efforts in hiring better drivers and did a good background check on them. Not only was he rude, he didn’t even know how to get to the airport from Andheri. I’m never using this platform ever again, you shouldn’t either.
