Update April 2014: crashes when opening map section. I reinstalled the app but no fix. Older review As a long-term Miami Beach resident, I love the DecoBike system. The Deco Bikes app is a great complement, particularly after updating to v1.1. Its geolocation engine is now fixed so it finds me and gives me the nearest bike stations and how many bikes are available. The method of locating a station, by opening a Google Map page, and adding it as a favorite is a bit convoluted but now works. The "How to use DecoBike" section could have more substance and a link to the full DecoBike website is now at the Info/About DecoBike section. The embedded DecoBike video it referred to in version 1.0 is now viewed as well via a link within the Info/About DecoBike section. All in all, a major improvement over first version.

It’s almost 2020 and this app works like it was created in 2010! When I want to see the number of bikes or docks for a certain station, pressing on the location flag brings it up for a second then it goes away. It’s like playing whack-a-mole trying to get information. Today for the first time I looked to see available bikes and the screen is blank. There’s nothing. The app is useless. You can’t use it to sign up for a monthly subscription or to check out a bike. There’s no point to this app. Luckily I found another citibike miami app that, from what I can tell, works perfectly! I’m deleting this one because clearly no one is maintaining it.

When you update an app and make it worse 🤦🏻‍♂️ Absolute garbage. Station are not reporting properly. Current station 169 reports 2 bikes available and 14 open docks. Has 16 bikes and 0 open docks. I have been having this problem continuously and is causing me lots of inconveniences. Bumped into one of my friends earlier who was late to work due to the app misreporting bike availability. This CitiBike system continues to confound me with its gross mismanagement and inability to do almost anything right.

Finding the nearest location in Radius tab doesn't work and the map tab still crashes. I needed it very badly a couple of times now and it never came through for me. I'm deleting the app rather than keeping it in hopes of it being updated because I just can't take the chance of relying on it again and going through what I've gone through already.

The app works well in helping locate the bike stations. It would be a lot more useful if it allowed users to unlock & pay for their bikes, notified you when your rental was about to end and let you know if the station had no bikes or no empty slots. Keep up the good work!
