After having this card for a year ! I was always on time making payments sometimes 2-3 a month I was late one month by 3 days and would not even let it pass that one time. For being such a faithful customer all this time. I was just very disappointed that the company wouldn’t wouldn’t let this go this one time after all this time of always paying more then what was due or paying many times through the month. It’s not like I had a track record of being late all the time. Never happened. I was 3 days late and they wouldn’t even consider to change it . Not only that it’s still showing on my credit report that I still owe a higher balance then what I do! Because soon after I made my payment a week later I made another payment. And it’s still has not updated! Sure they like to make you look bad on your credit report when you don’t even owe that. But yet won’t work with you for a 3 day late payment.

The app works great, but this is more a review about the company itself. I needed a personal loan because I just purchased my house at the end of 2017 and needed to make some repairs. I received an offer via snail mail and thought I’d try because it said interest was between 9%-35%. My credit score was 676, so I assumed I’d get a good interest rate. Nope, I got approved for $3,000 with 35.5%. The money was in my account the next day, but 1 year and 2 months later, I only paid $971 of the principle balance and my mo/$130 was barely making a dent. I paid on time every month because automatic debit. I called CS to see if there was anyway to lower monthly or interest rate and they said I would have to run my credit again to refinance and increase the amount of the loan. No thanks! So I just paid off the principle in full 2 days ago to avoid paying $1680 in interest by the end of the loan. Sure they’ll approve you, but you’ll end up paying more in the end for a small amount of money that you could’ve saved up for or waited for tax season.

I never had a personal loan before them .. I need a loan for a family emergency I submit my information through a landing tree the beginning and then they suggested fews companies Who can approve my loan so I want with them. I put the application through them and then They asked me to submit it more verification because apparently my birthday didn’t match what the credit bureau had a record so I sent an email right then and there about less than 2hours I got a day congratulation email that they approved my loan and then less than 48 hours the loan was already in my bank so thanks to them now I no longer need to worried about the needs of my family thank you

For my first automatic payment, the company charged bank account twice causing it to be over drawn. I emailed them and no response after 2 hours, I then called the company and was on the phone for almost 3 hours after speaking to 3 representatives in the Philippines. They all apologized saying there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue quicker and credit could not credit my account yet, even though they charged it twice. I asked to speak to someone in the United States due to the urgency of the matter and having to pay my childs school tuition in order to reserve her spot at school and not having access to they money that they were holding. The representatives stated that they had no way to reach the company located in Chicago, Illinois except for email, which I had already done two hour prior to being on the phone with them for 3 hours. This was the biggest mistake I’ve made by getting a loan through them and not resolving my issue. Wish I would have never signed this contract!!

I have no issue with anyone if I am denied. Even if the offer was presented to me and not I searching for it. However with Avant I took the offer the first time and they seemed to have an issue finding someone to make a call to contact my boss about verifying employment. Now the first time I didn’t say anything and they let the application expire at that step. I applied again as that was the suggestion and again they seem to have an issue with calling him. I worked side by side with him this entire week, spoke to AVANT reps twice standing next to him who said they’d call right away... no call at all the entire week. I talked to a rep again and she was so scripted she had no idea how to respond at all. Let alone my two most current pay stubs shows I am employed, though not actively. Seriously they have my name, social security number, bank account info, and all they need yet can’t do what they guaranteed to do with it. Shady!
