I was expecting more. It uses valuable battery resources since Location Services must be turned on constantly, even when not open. The locations given for police and hospitals are incomplete. My substation as well as the area's nearest, and best, hospital were not shown. So the only value is an occasional alert. I already get alerts for weather and Amber alerts without this app. I might reinstall it for a long trip, but only if I have a car charger available.

My intention was to set alerts for a few watched areas so I could be notified of closures or road issues in those areas *in advance* (I.e. before I drive there and find out a road is closed and lose major time discovering it). After all, the app advertises this type of feature. Too bad it doesn’t work that way. The app keeps nagging me to allow constant GPS tracking in the background, even when I’m not using the app. If I do not allow it that always-tracking permission, then it will not allow me to create any “watched” areas. What a stupid design! If they need to track my location to provide an alert about a pre-defined “watched” area, then it’s either not giving me advance notice (& requiring me to approach the area before it pushes me an alert) or it’s just a very stupid limitation in the design that will waste considerable battery each day as it seeks GPS locations, particularly when I’m inside a building with no access to a GPS signal. I was hopeful that in the couple years which have elapsed since other reviewers mentioned similar limitations, that those issues would now have been addressed. Nope! All those old issues are still there… Except I have not seen the advertisement for that coffee gift card (so I guess they have made 1 improvement in the last couple years).

I bet you're all thinking of downloading this so you can get vital traffic and weather alerts, right? Wrong. I'm getting constant advertisements disguised as traffic alerts. Not one actual traffic information yet. And it requires Location services be ALWAYS enabled rather than just when the app is open or in the background, so it maintains a constant gps lock on your phone that unnecessarily and egregiously drains the battery. You can turn that off, but you can't turn off the advert spam without also disabling the so-called safety alerts. Gross. Bad app. Can't y'all, just once, put aside the greedy hunt for profit and do ONE good thing for people? Something that can make our lives on the roads safer and better? Without trying to sell us things? No? Okay. Don't know why I bothered to ask...

This app is terrible, and other 3rd party apps are much more reliable. All this app does is spam you with ads, like another user said. I was quite upset when I was traveling on the 10 and I was not informed that there was an accident up ahead that caused a delay for me when I was running out of gas. I thought that was the whole point of this app? I also don’t like how you can’t view road conditions before you leave. I completely agree that DPS and ADOT are purely profit seekers and don’t actually strive to keep roads safer. I will be uninstalling this app due to its lack of quality and thought. As it stands this app is just wasting space on my phone.

I wanted to leave a review because the first couple of reviews were misleading. There are no ads, but I think there was a free coffee gift card promo going on at first. This app will let you know of crashes, weather-related freeway problems and wrong way driver alerts in the area in which you are located. I appreciate this helpful info when traveling!
