Zeux - Banking & Investing

I’ve been using the app and the easy access savings account for 3 months now. I can’t fault any aspect Zeux. The ease of withdrawing and adding money great and the compounded daily interest is brilliant. I also like the referral incentive and the Zeux credit you can earn to boost you earning interest. I’ve used customer service via the email address and I have to say they are prompt to reply and always helpful and friendly. I look forward to boosting my savings further in 2020!

I was initially lured in by the 5% savings pot and quite liked the app at first. But then they started freezing my account randomly without notifying me or explaining why or even when it’ll be unfrozen! And it’s a widespread problem among people I introduced to the app and online_ just check trust pilot and comments on their Facebook posts. This company is disgusting and needs to be stopped! If you use this app you will regret it believe me. If you’re interested, other negatives are: -misleading referral incentive. It should be made clear that the £40 credit awarded is not cash but just a way of boosting your interest earnings. - it takes too long to transfer money to other accounts for the first time. If they can accept money from an account instantly, why do I have to send a copy of my bank statement first and wait hours if not days before I can transfer money to that same account. Just a delay tactic to benefit Zeux. Because as I’ve learned from having the savings account- payment delayed is money earned/saved Oh- and try asking them for a statement and see how many hoops you have to jump through to get that. I just couldn’t be bothered in the end because it’s a complete joke!

At first I thought this app was neat...until I transferred some money to the account not realising what a hassle it would be to transfer from Zeux to another account. They ask for way too much personal information and personal statements that are completely unnecessary. I wonder how long the whole verification process of the account I want to transfer my money to is going to take. They make it so easy for the money to be put in but not to be taken out....The creators need to sort themselves out because it’s clear they’re in my opinion trying to rip people off and clearly they just don’t give enough sh*** to improve the app. Judging from all the complaints I’ve come across they haven’t taken any advice on board. Says a lot. My money is my money and I want to do whatever I want with it without having to provide you with information that you SHOULD NOT BE ASKING FOR. This app will not last!

I love the concept and I really want to love this company but this app is far from worthy of public release. I’ve tried to go through the entire flow of putting money in and taking money out. So far it’s been a terrible user experience. Authentication is deal breakingly slow, and so far I’ve not managed to withdraw any of the money I deposited. I had to email a bank statement to them before they’d set up my bank account. Then they emailed back saying I was accepted and it still wasn’t available in the app, and now it fails to send an SMS which is blocking me from removing funds. A day later and the SMS issue persists. Very disappointed considering every other fintech app I’ve used since 2018 has been polished to death and I rave about the user experience in most cases. This needs a lot of work guys.

The Zeux App is great, with frequent bug fixes and security updates. It reminds me of Starling Bank App and it’s as easy to use. In regards to Zeux itself, I am still sceptical about the security of my deposits in it’s Easy Access Money Pot account as it is not under FSCS protection - this simple change would make it much stronger against competitors. When it grows and its promotional interest goes down, most people will rather transfer their money to competitors that guarantee deposit protection.
