Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner

Amazing app to make better shopping choices, especially for free! Hundreds of thousands of products in the database, and if your product isn’t there you can add it manually so the database should grow very quickly (I noticed they don’t have many Aldi products for example). Only issue is there still is some untranslated French when performing certain actions - nothing that makes the app unusable. I’m sure the developers are working on fixing this.

Became addicted to scanning - first because it is easy to do, but mostly because what you discover everytime is just incredible (in good or bad). You won’t see some brands the same way as before ... I also want to emphasize that the fact that they quote report where analysis of chemicals is extracted from makes it very interesting. You can go and have a deeper look, but also it shows how the information is known but not spread ... Thanks to the great team !!!

Thank you for that kind of app, very useful. Some pages are in English and French, I just send to you an email with attached screenshot. Also, it not intuitive when you want to report something with attachments, you have to pass the first step to see that there is a one. Hope stuff from brands don’t use Yuka 😂 Thank you 😊

It’s been a long time that I haven’t found such an exciting and useful app like this one, it’s just brilliant to use, great UX, only downside currently is that the language is a bit messed up, some pages showing mixed English and French. another thing is that it limits the upload photos, i can only use the stock mail app to request increase limit

I paid for the app, I love the concept but it needs a lot of improvements and work. 1. Search function doesn’t bring back all results, I’ll search then won’t find a product, I go to add it by scanning the barcode and it will find it. 2. Some Error or informational messages are in French. 3. They limit the amount of products you can add to the app, there is a limit per day. I don’t understand this feature, it’s very frustrating. 4. You can only add a product if you have the barcode, so if you want to add a product before buying it (based on website info) you can’t. You have to have it physically in your possession. If the improvements are made, the app will be amazing!
