Workout Motivation Meditation

Overall I enjoy this app a lot and whether it is helping or not, it certainly isn't hurting! Usually I fall asleep very quickly (during the induction). I do have feedback that I hope will be addressed by the developers. Between the induction and the main play there is a break in sound if you have any background going at all. (The app gives you choices like rain, ocean etc). The break is very jarring. It actually wakes me on many occasions or makes my heart rate increase. My other critique is that the inductions are mirrored in at least one of the other apps you create and there are only two to choose from (long and short). If I am supposed to listen for a minimum of 21 days, I would like to not have it memorized especially when I hop over to the other app. I am happy with this app and I hope my review will be viewed as simple feedback to the developers and not negative toward the app itself. I use it and felt good enough about it to purchase other apps from the same people.

At least on my copy, when the app transitions from the induction process to the actual suggestions there is a sudden JUMP IN VOLUME. It's so loud it took me right out of my relaxed state and ruined the entire experience. This is a stupid engineering detail. Surely someone could have simply checked the levels. Other versions from this developer don't seem to do this.

This is my first time trying hypnosis. Fate must've guided me to this app. I was stuck in a depressing year-long rut of nearly zero exercise. I desperately wanted to get going again, but couldn't seem to find the time or the will. As soon as I started listening to this app in my sleep, it was like a light switch flicked on. It's been 23 days and I've intentionally exercised every day (as opposed to getting exercise doing something I'd be doing anyway). My husband and I started a long overdue home workout together too—9 days straight now and counting. I'm so grateful for this app!! It gave me just the push I needed to get going again. The app itself could be designed better, but in my opinion the program itself is awesome.

Exceptional self hypnosis App. Extremely relaxing. Very powerful. The male voice pitch is perfect. This app gives the user lots of choices to customize to ones's needs. You can set the induction from short to long. You can choose different themes and loudness of the background effects such as ocean waves. MOST CRUCIAL--you can choose how to end the session!! If you are listening before bed and want to fall asleep you can choose SLEEP mode or if you listen in the morning and want to feel awake at the end, you can choose WAKE mode as well. NOTHING is worse than many of the self-hypnosis apps that ONLY end with an annoying upbeat "...now you will wake up feeling energized..." when you want to be falling asleep. Excellent all around for relaxation AND effective for exercise motivation too.

So I have only used for a couple of days so I can't speak on the efficacy of the hypnosis but I have a few other weight loss hypnosis apps and they all require upgrades to change background noise, put on sleep mode, loop the recording, etc. I love that this app does that all for free! Because of that this is now becoming my go to sleep aid. Last night when I put it on my body immediately relaxed, almost like a conditioned response (which hasn't happened with any other app). Maybe if I work out before going to bed working out will become a conditioned response as well. :)
