Word Slices

This game is absolutely amazing, when playing this in the United States my friends all gather around and watch me with excitement. Even when I'm not playing, all of my friends and neighbor begs me to play so they could watch. This game is perfect for making friends and test your mind with great word puzzles and volcabulary tests. I had to dump my girlfriend, because she was taking time away from my word slices time. After moving to Japan, the people here don't really speak english, but they still loved this game because it improved their english vocabulary and helped them learn a lot from this experience. The things i would change about this game is a online Cooperation feature where two or more players can be in the same level to solve the puzzles together, or maybe even a 1 vs 1 challenge level where two players take turns on making moves and the one with the best words gets the most points. Overall, i would recommend this game to everyone who loves word, or even to people who do not speak english because this game will help them learn new words. This is truely the best experience I had with any word games.

It’s a great game to pass time! Very challenging and I learn new words with the certain category! The only thing I question is the daily gifts. You are given three gifts. A Red Box, Blue Box, and a Pink box. You get a daily gift every day you get on. So you think to yourself each day you pick different colors to get a different amount of coins. That’s not the case. Everyday it’s 250. Not a huge deal. Just not what I expected when it comes to a daily gift because with other apps, you can choose random gifts and each time it’s something different. If you are giving 250 everyday what’s the point of having three options?

I do like the game very much, but it’s starting to really irritate me that so many of the words have never been used in the United States before. If you’re going to be using so many words that perhaps are used in great Britain or Australia, then say so and make it a whole different app. It’s ridiculous for Americans to try to figure out what the hell a “plushy” is, for example. I would stake my life on the fact that no American child has ever used the term “plushy.” We use the term “stuffed animal.” I do love words that are challenging, and I love unusual words that perhaps aren’t used much anymore. But it has to be a word that an American might know or figure out, rather than a word we would never hear on this continent.

I love playing this game but the daily challenge needs to be changed. You have to play 3 to 5 games to get the reward but only 2 chalkenges are allowed daily. That level is gone next day so you start over and you never get the reward. What’s the point ig playing daily challenge if you never get the coins? I have gotten coins twice and I play everyday. Can you change it?

I like the game, but I’m so frustrated with the whole screen moving when you click on a set of letters to move them. I get frustrated and quit playing. There has to be a way to freeze the background and only move what you put your fingers on. Also, it wasn’t what I saw advertised. What I saw advertised was a game of finding things in a picture with the letters you had available and spelling them out. This game is fun, but disappointed and frustrated.
