There is nothing scarier or lonelier than having one’s child diagnosed with any special need. My world stopped when my middle son, then 2, was diagnosed with autism. I spent endless hours reading books, googling everything, and reading blogs written by other autism parents and individuals with autism. But I had no one in my circle who could relate to the roller coaster of emotions my husband and I faced, nor did I have anyone to advise us with respect to therapies, doctors, etc. This App would have saved us from isolation and provided our family with connections to other families facing similar challenges. I was fortunate that fate brought my “autism mentor” into my life eventually, though it took years. This App would have been the lifeline we needed. It’s brilliant, plain and simple. “Surround yourself with people who get it” is exactly right.

This app is such a special “place” for mothers of children with special needs. Not only can you connect with other moms in your hometown or across the country, but you can find valuable resources. The Specialist Directory is a one-of-a-kind mobile tool for finding anything from speech therapists to dentists to camps and schools! The articles and features are super helpful and I love how often new ones are posted. A true gem of an App!

The app that makes parents of special needs kids feel truly special and cool. Informative content, humor, and just helpful tidbits of practical advice from the special parents community. The user interface is modern and clear, and the navigation journey is so easy. None of the mini mental stumbles that make you close out of an app.

The Wolf + Friends app has changed my life in terms of the connections I have made, along with the wide array of content and resources that I now have access to all in one place. It is a community I can trust to cast no judgements while always providing a positive and inspirational outlook on challenges that can so many times be a frustrating experience to tackle alone.

I was very excited about this app, but it is not successful at all. I have reached out to moms and I am not even sure if the moms receive my messages. I think this was a great idea, but it is not currently operating well or assisting families with special needs to make real connections as hoped. Thanks so much for your efforts. Can someone please instruct me how to delete my profile entirely from this site? I do not want our information floating out there and it is useful for its purpose. Please let me know how I can delete totally. Thanks!
