William Hill – Sports Betting

I personally believe it would be great if you could custom your own leagues/competitions you bet in. Ive noticed there is a lot of leagues i don't bet in or are interested in within football.(This can be applied to any sport with multiple leagues/comps) For example.. Saturdays daily list. Germany leagues have about 5 lower leagues, spanish have a few, Norway, China, Romania and so on. I don't bet in leagues that aren't major, its pointless for me to see them. It takes awhile to scroll past when trying to find the league you want to bet in. So i reckon it would be cool to have a favourites tab, so that you can select what leagues and competitions you like. Makes betting a lot easier, speeds the process of betting, specially when limited for time.

As I sit here writing this review I am waiting for a cash out which I selected 15mins ago still it will not cash out, these guys have a software in place designed to restrict what you can do at times so if you have a large cash out or a cash out with profit they will make the app freeze and when it starts working again the cash out has significantly reduced or no longer available, these are the only bookmakers that behaves this way they are purely unscrupulous and they punish you when you win and the only reason I stick with them is because they allow you to place a 1p stake on multiple bet but away from that they are terrible and when you contact them they send you a patronising message which infuriates you more, this is one company that the government should keep a close eye on and fine them substantially when they break and breach the rules and in such cases I have 0 sympathy for them,I am so disgusted in the way they treat punters and as soon as bet365 start doing 1p stake on multiple bets I will close my WH account forthwith and with no hesitation, business is about making money but WH want it all and hate to pay out, if you win big the app will freeze if it detects you browsing more possible winners and they get with this behaviour because unless you are the one operating the software you can’t prove it and they thrive on this. Bad Company!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been using WH for a while. Good enough for my needs but I am getting more and more frustrated with trying to lay a bet and finding that there are no odds offered. I bet a lot on the golf but am aggravated because WH rarely offer anything on ladies golf. In fact I’m fed up asking. Live chat is crap as a well. I ask a question and am told the next available operator will be with me in 1 min and when the min is up it jumps to 6 mins and so on. May go try one of the others now and see if there’s happiness elsewhere. In addition to my last entry I confess to sticking with WH. But then I was trying to place a bet. I was offered ‘boost’ which I took to enhance my odds. Went to place the bet to be told that I wasn’t entitled to the ‘boost’ because play had already started. Why was I offered it in the first place!! I was forced to start the process again only this time I was suspended from placing a bet because of an error. I went to live chat. They took an age to go through some rudimentary questions only to be told there was nothing they could do and would not lift the suspension. They offered absolutely no help or suggestions. I suggested that I would leave WH after a few years of use. I was told “that was my decision”. Customer service is absolutely crap. WH don’t care.

Can’t fault presentation: attractive schematics and colours with clear text fonts. Easy to place a bet when I have a WiFi connection. In depth analysis a great feature and price “boosts” an attractive option. Only problem I’ve experienced relates to online connection to your site when on 4G. For instance when wishing to place a bet when at the York Ebor meeting and trying unsuccessfully for several hours to get a connection. Clearly a technical issue affecting your website which may or may not be within your control. I have changed to a new iPhone this week and just this morning had the same problem. So am feeling frustrated that I can’t take advantage of what is an otherwise excellent betting facility. AH Morgan

Generally advise avoiding this app. 1st deposit: I received an invite with an offer, “deposit £10 play with £40” opted in for this but when I deposited £10 only had £10 to play with, ok, so play with what you pay I guess. Don’t expect freebies, but atleast people should receive what is advertised. 2nd deposit: opted in for the deposit today receive 100% bonus. Received my bonus this time, my mistake in not reading the small print, but deposited £10 and received £10, but winnings were slim and I wanted to walk away with £50 after putting in a fair bit, but with a £10 deposit and a £10 bonus to withdraw any winnings you must first play with almost £500 which is well over the 3 x the wager that I read in the terms and conditions. In general the app is very temperamental, bonus cash can only be played on specific fruit machines, but when you go to any of these you constantly get an error message saying low funds so you don’t actually get to play with any bonus cash you receive. Lastly, the free spin prize machine is appalling, several times I have spun free spins for use on certain games but is impossible to claim them, every time I go to the fruit machine, I get an error message saying low funds please deposit and as yet didn’t receive 15 free spins.
