This is the most richly detailed and accurate field guide to Western Australia’s rich and unique wildflowers, with a depth of information that will be used by professionals as well enthusiasts and tourists. Popular features include a personal “bucket list” of flowers you want to find, that can be ticked off when seen, as well as a favourites list. Each flower has multiple screens with images and information including names, genus details, where the flower occurs and tips for seeing it. You can get a quick overview, or delve into detailed technical information suitable for professional use. Most flowers have multiple full size images showing the flower and plant from different perspectives. There is a powerful search function that lets you quickly narrow your search for a particular flower according to categories of color, flower shape, leaf type and leaf/stem structure, location and season. Also included is information about wildflowers including plant naming. The app is being continuously expanded. It includes a feedback function so users can share suggestions direct with the author. The initial download takes a while as full information is downloaded to the device (so the app will work in remote areas with no connection). Regular updates however are via our Data-vault so only the changed information is uploaded, making updates quick and easy. We recommend an immediate Sync after install, to ensure the full and latest data is installed. Authors Greg and Bronwen Keighery are among the best known and respected botanists in Western Australia and are extensively published in professional journals. Michael and Irene Morcombe are Australia's best-known flora and fauna photographers with dozens of publications including the world best-selling iPhone app "The MICHAEL MORCOMBE eGuide to Australian Birds".
