WeatherLocation uses the GPS functionality to give the user an highly detailed weather forecast for the exact place of the user. Provided parameters are: Wind speed and direction, temperature, precipitation amount and type. Fog amount, cloud amounts for low, medium and high level clouds, relative humidity at ground level and local preassure value. In some locations not all parameters are available. At some times probability scores are available. This is indicated by small colored squares next to the relevant parameter. Only weather symbol, wind and temperature has this added score. And it is also available only at some times during the forecast. The score is such: - Green is Rather certain [90% , 100%] - Orange is Somewhat uncertain [50% , 90%> - Red is Uncertain [ 0% , 50%> This is very useful for the longer forecast periods. The values are displayed in hourly intervals for the first days and in 3 and 6 hour intervals for the period up to 10 days ahead. The forecast is available for the whole of the globe, but full time resolution is better for the Scandinavian area. WeatherLocation uses free weather data from the Norwegian meteorological institute.
