Watch Tuner Lite

I have several Japanese automatic movements that were losing time or gaming time daily. I had been trying to time them myself without any technical equipment and it was so frustrating. I downloaded this app, and was immediately able to use it to time my adjustments. 24 hours later, I have timed the movements, and they are exactly what the app said. Now, All my automatic watches are keeping reasonable time. Thank you so much for creating this app! Be sure to follow the directions for best results. It is simple.

Works well for me, and given that the selection of apps with this functionality appears to be relatively limited, I’m thankful that someone programmed it so that I avoid buying a 200USD “timegrapher” (which I don’t need for my purposes). The alternative app implementations (of which there appears to be many), where you basically time it yourself based on a visual observation, I find somewhat ridiculous. I placed the watch Caseback or Chrystal on top of the microphone (located a bit down the cord of my headphones) - and it works both ways.

Successfully tuned my Orient Bambino which was running 22 or so seconds per day fast to -4 seconds per day in a few minutes rather than days. With case back on, I wear watch and slip the iPod mic under my watch. With hand position I can measure face up, face down, crown up, crown down, noon up and noon down. My measurements with this app are extremely close to 24 hour manually timed results. Thanks for this app!

Bought that app month ago and never use it. Today tried to check my old seiko accuracy - no matter what setting you use and no matter are bitrate is correct or not - the app constantly shows up accuracy of +2 to +3 secs per day which is ridiculous - the watch itself is around 20 seconds a day faster. Sensitivity doesn’t help, noice reduction too - and I used my headphones mic which is Sennheiser - not some $5 headset mic. Giving the same accuracy with different BPH (when wrongly detected) is kind of proof that app itself do basically nothing... unfortunately it’s too late to ask for money back... do not make mistake to pay for that app

You must be in dead quiet, but this works well for me by simply resting the back of the watch case directly on the phone mic. Be sure you know the BPM of your watch movement and that it matches the first reading to ensure you’re getting a correct measurement. I found higher sensitivity and no noise reduction worked best for me. Thank you! Super useful app for my needs.
