Washe - Car Washes Delivered

I happened to see a raptor vehicle with the Washe advertisement on it and decided to download the app. I’m so glad that I did. I’m too busy to sit and wait two hours for my car to be done elsewhere and why do that when in 30 minutes flat these guys showed up to my house detailed my entire vehicle to perfection at a much better price than I would’ve paid at the local‘s car wash. It also beats texting back-and-forth to see if I can get an appointment which wasn’t gonna happen until next week with another company. I’m a spur of the moment Scheduler I can’t schedule my car to be washed next week, I need my car washed now and this app and the companies associated make it happen!

I downloaded Washe hoping to have my car washed while at work because it was recommended by a coworker. I downloaded the app and it automatically choose the $45 Platinum wash, beware of this. It automatically set my location and when I adjusted the setting for the $30 wash I wanted I was hit was a message saying “Sorry Washé is not yet available in your neighborhood. Coming soon!” and both times the Washe Truck was washing my coworker’s car in the parking lot? So we had to call and Venmo the washer, shady. The guy who washed my car was pleasant, but when I came back to look at it there was still dirt all over my car! Weird when you pay that much for a wash you’d actually expect it to be clean. The washer did come back for free and cleaned it again and it still wasn’t perfect, but looked how it should’ve in the first place. Although he did come back to rewash my car I decided not to use there services again because what is supposed to be a simple process... isn’t. I went back onto the app to take off my credit card info (which of course is the first thing the app asks for) because I hadn’t paid through the app and it wouldn’t let me do so. I contacted customer support to delete my account as I do not feel comfortable with my personal info on the app. I spoke to someone in customer service asking for this to be done and a week later STILL nothing. I am very disappointed and wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right.

I ordered a wash. They app said he would arrive in 25 minutes. An hour later it said he was 28 minutes out. A half hour later he was now 34 minutes out. I texted the driver who first said he was 5 min out, then 25 min out then around 30. Said the GPS wasn’t working right. I tried to cancel in the app but it said I would be charged a fee. I then told the driver to cancel, which I guess he didn’t because eventually he said he was outside. I went outside and he wasn’t there. I called him and he didn’t know where he was. I asked what address he was going to and he didn’t know. Once again I told him to cancel. Maybe 30 minutes later I got a call from another Washe car washer saying he arrived. I told him I had canceled with the original driver a while ago. Maybe 20 minutes later I got another call from yet another Washe car washer again saying he had arrived. I tried to explain that there was no job but he didn’t understand so I went outside to talk to him. Nobody was there. This was now about 3 hours after I ordered a car wash and was told someone named Todd would be there in 25 minutes. #DeleteWashe

I had heard about this app a long time ago. Downloaded in case I ever needed an emergency car wash situation. The day came when I was finally able to wash my car with plenty of anticipated time. I ordered a car wash + wax in the morning via the app. A washer picked up and confirmed the job. I received a phonecall from the business that they would come wash my vehicle several hours later over the confirmed time in the app for logistic purposes. (Thankfully had no plans so it worked out) The wash job was great was very happy with the outcome. The problem arose after I realized the company broke two of my AC vent covers during their wash process. I submitted a ticket to support department via email. Was extremely difficult as Washe (app) is not directly responsible for the third party vendors it hires todo the actual washing. They’re supposed to carry their own insurance, which mine happened to have however Washe closed my support ticket even though I never was compensated nor were my AC vents ever fixed.

OK so first off The guy that showed up to wash my car was really cool. He was personable, nice and seemed like he took pride in the work he did. This service was not what I expected. I expected a conversion van or some utility vehicle to show up with all the bells and whistles but instead this dude shows up in drop top mustang pull, out cardboard box with some towels and bottles in it. My perception of washe was thrown off by what I’ve seen online and what was advertised. I actually asked my washer if I had order the detail package for $130 would a van show up then? He replied “naw bruh, I do that package too!” 🤦🏾‍♂️ I'm giving the app and service 4 stars because my car (2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross) looks good. No water spots or residue was left behind, it was done in a timely fashion and the washer was professional!!! Not bad for a free 1st wash!!!
