Waking Violet

Love this game style as it reminds of Adventures of Lolo on NES. But to be clear it is similar and not a copy. The addition of new spells as you progress keeps your interest piqued though I was bummed the game picks your spells for each level. I understand why as it would be a nightmare to balance each level if every spell where available. All and all a very fun and at times challenging game to play. Unfortunately sometimes the challenge is nativigating tricky sequences with very clunky controls. Unless you have usually tiny hands the buttons are very small on a 7 plus.

This is a very challenging but cute little puzzle game! The only qualms I have with this game is that the controls can be very weird at times. Like when walking through sideways you have to be at the very bottom of the square instead of the middle like any other game would which makes the movement pretty awkward. But other than that, awesome game!

I’m in love. My all-time favorite NES game was Adventures of Lolo, and my fav game app is Journey of Haha. Waking Violet is very similar and I’m loving it. It’s also similar to Gesundheit. I have one complaint - I really dislike the controls being in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen but don’t see anything in the Options that allows me to change this. Help!

This game is extremely frustrating to play. The controls ruin the experience for me. I want my money back.

Never played since it crashes from the beginning. A waste of time and money
