VOM Pray Today

The Voice of the Martyrs app is a great tool to pray for Christians living in areas hostile to Christianity or restricted from Christian conversion, worship, teaching, preaching and sharing of the Gospel. In addition to a prayer suggestion for each day, the app allows users to know more about the particular country for each day. The greatest insight comes from the radio broadcasts also accessible from the app. One can listen to Todd Nettleton interview believers across the globe who are suffering under restrictions, constant risk, oppression, and imprisonment for their faith. These are the truly faithful, the true believers for whom we pray.

I’ve listened to the testimonies from the VOM podcast since I was a kid. Little did I know God was preparing me to step into missions myself and encounter a small taste of persecution in Asia. I was encouraged knowing the stories of hundreds of believers who have gone through similar experiences and faithfully endured because God has a bigger plan than what we can see. I am beyond thankful for the ministry VOM provides!

I love this app and I an so thankful for the work you do and that you share it with us. I love the daily prayer and information about that part of the world. And the podcast are wonderful. I lesson to them in the morning with the kids as we have breakfast and get ready for the day.

Thanks for the awesome work in making this app available. I just stumbled on it yesterday when I visited the VOM web site to order some prayer calendars. This effort will go a long way in remembering & praying for our persecuted brethren all over the world anytime. One thing I would like to see in the app though, is the ability to go back & review the prayer points for past days, as one may have missed to pray in the days past. The notification also does not work for me. I use the iPhone, if that helps. Thanks & God bless you, Titty

My family and I started using this app a about a month ago and my boys love to pray for these each day. My only suggestion would be to have a new picture for every day. i.e. Don't use the same picture every time you pray for a country.
