The app works as well as any other streaming app. That being said, it is just as fragile as any other such app. The app does not handle the transitions from WiFi to Wireless and vice-versa well. The stream will stop and you have to close the app (double click the home button and swipe-away the app) and start it back up to get it to work again. On the user interface, the button to start the stream playing is very small and very close to the top of the screen. It would be easier to mash the button one-handed if it were larger and closer to the bottom of the screen.

Well the app takes you to on demand versions of all the national podcasts VPR buys, but makes it almost impossible to find VPR Classical and the VPR Replay streams. Which is a shame,’especially now that they’ve added availability of Ray Vega’s excellent Friday Noght Jazz.

Great app - well designed to stream VPR and get users the latest Vermont news. It crashes often, it disconnects often, pauses randomly, always has over the past two years I've used it. Have sent countless crash reports, but to no avail. Please fix these issues, perhaps then you might have more millennial subscribers, most of us don't waste our time with apps that don't work.

The news they put out is so obviously biased that we native Vermonters call it Vermont Propaganda Radio. No coverage of the criminality of the Democratic Party and all the sexual abuse stories rising out of their past. No stories of Meuller’s tainted and biased looking into the Matter of Trump/Russia collusion (of which there is not one shred of evidence after over a year of looking into it). No mention of how it was actually Hillary who paid for the false Trump dossier and the corrupt DOJ that used it to open the Trump investigation in the first place. Corruption that is not being reported. VPR does NOT have news for the Public. They are a propaganda arm of the Liberal Democrat agenda.

This app has been so bad for so long, I have notified VPR that I am ending my sustaining membership until it is fixed. It’s adequate if you sit in one place, but walking around my house (let alone outside) the app continuously stalls, drops off, or quits. Not only does it not handle transitions between Wi-FI and cell, it does not even handle transitions from one Wi-Fi node to another on the same network! I can walk all around my entire property streaming Pandora, but the VPR app is unusable. VPR is well aware of these issues, and chooses to ignore them.
