VeriTab provides innovative analyses of recent historical football results which are not available anywhere else. How do you know whether your team is doing well or badly so far this season ? The conventional league table counts points collected to date from the random set of fixtures played. Maybe you've had more "easy" games so far, or you've played lots of "top" teams away from home. TruTable is calculated by comparing each team's results to date in corresponding fixtures, eg how did you get on v city away or v united at home compared to each other team which has also played that same fixture this season. The resulting TruTable might give a more meaningful indication of where your team is in the league at this stage. How are teams doing compared to expected goals (xG)? The xGTable is derived from results if expected goals applied, rather than actual goals scored/conceded. How are teams doing relative to their means? Money plays an increasing part in determining sports team results and so it is interesting to see how each team is performing taking into account their financial muscle. TurnTab£€ is calculated by measuring each team's results relative to their financial turnover. VeriTab compares this to the conventional league table. How are teams doing relative to their perceived ability? OddTable compares each team's results relative to the odds of each game's outcome. VeriTab also sets out some tables for each country so that a comparison can be made between teams in different Divisions. VeriTab also provides some analysis of each team's league performance over the last few seasons, indicating the team's form and character. Is your team aggressive or passive in attack; tight or loose in defence ? The Head2Head analysis compares these key factors for any 2 teams. The historical results in VeriTab are updated weekly and VeriTab has no ads or in-app purchases.
