trustID Authenticator works with 2-factor authentication for your trustID accounts. The app itself is protected by biometrics or PIN code. Sensitive data, such as the secrets of your second factors, are stored securely on your device only. When you access to a service using your trustID account, a push notification will be delivered to your app that lets you confirm or cancel the sign-in process in an effortless way. If the notification service is unavailable, a traditional offline mode can also be used to not miss any sign-in sessions.
