Cannot get PTZ feature to work on iPad or iPhone even after upgrade to full version. I can view the cams but I have no control. This feature works fine on the older TrendNet View App. I have updated the firmware on all cams as well. I hope this is resolved. Another problem I have encountered is that after purchasing the upgrade to full version on my iPad, I do not have access to the full version on my iPhone even after pushing "restore" as it says to do.

I have a problem. I’m in network engineer by training, and I know a thing or two about where the problem lies. However, the only actual support you have is by telephone call to someone in India. The technical support person did not know what a Macintosh was. Even after I explained it was the computer made by Apple. Every single link on this page that goes to support send you to a generic Trenet help website. The first thing you need to do is put in your operating system – – there is no iOS in any of the pop ups. The second thing you do need to do is put in your unit and serial number. I have 30 cameras. Whenever I put one of those in I get support for that specific camera not for the iOS application After three hours on the phone now with the only phone number, the technical support person has admitted that they are in over their head. His first suggestion was that I undo the two weeks of wiring and all three cameras and send them back to him. Finally after a lot of discussion he escalated me to level to technical support. They’re supposed to Call me back in six hours. Do not buy any equipment from these people if you are using anything on an Apple platform.

Each time I view a camera with this app it will alter and save the config settings from h.264 or h.265 to mjpeg. It does this when the stream is logged in as an administrator. If it’s not set to mjpeg and you’re not logged in as an administrator, it won’t stream anything. As far as I can tell, it behaves this way for any sub-stream setting or client bandwidth availability. Once you stream from this app, you will be limited to mjpeg encoding across all other apps that use the sub-stream until you close this app and reconfigure the settings. Besides fixing this major problem, I’d like to see an option to toggle between the main stream, sub-stream, and for some cameras, the third stream depending on bandwidth availability.

This app is very basic and only displays the ip cameras connected to your own wifi network and only while you are connected to the same network. Leave your house and you can no longer see your security cameras using your phone. So, it's useful if you want to look around while watching TV or sitting in bed but you'll have to log on from another computer if you want to watch your stuff being stolen when away from home. A very weak product.

Works great with TV-IP672PI on iPhone and using DDNS to connect remotely. But I will try and record a video and then stop when done. It will prompt you for an option device or Dropbox (which I’m not sure how to sync it to Dropbox that also gets an error message). I choose device and it will display a message saying file name with the date has been saved. I go to find the video on the iPhone and there is nothing saved. The odd part is it will save Snapshots to the device just fine. I PAID TO GET THE RECORDING FEATURE AND IT IS NOT EVEN WORKING!! I gave 2 stars only because it does work remotely with audio, PTZ and being able to take snapshots.
