Transit Tracker - San Diego

Sometimes this app works fine, but sometimes the header that asks you to upgrade to pro won't go away. You'll have to close the app and re-open it for the header to go away. You also can only refresh every minute unless you pay and upgrade to pro.

The user experience of the app is pretty straight to the point since the user can look for the different stops and when the trolley comes, but it is pointless for real time eta (estimated time of arrival). For future users, it doesn’t update when the trolley comes late or is coming a few minutes early. Nor does the app give updates on delays or closed stops. In addition, I have to pay for an update just to “save” the stops I frequently use and to cancel out ads. That is a huge negative when people heavily rely on this transit system. Overall, it’s good for people that need to know what time they should EXPECT the trolley but without real time ETA, updates on the trolleys, and having to pay for features that should be permitted in the first place, this app is useless. It’s better to just go online to the website for accurate times.

I would have given this app a negative 1 star but was forced to use only 1 star. The app will open half of the time and the other half of the time it just sits there with its loading circle swirling for over 20 minutes. If the app does load it's not current with schedule times and gives incorrect locations. I am using the latest iOS 9.3.1. Also I am not going to pay to remove ads if this app doesn't work in the first place. it's just not worth the download.

I find this app easy to use and use it every day to plan my movement around the city. The trip planner is really helpful to get to places on time with the ability to chose arrival time. The stops/schedule is very convenient to find connections and alternatives. I love this app.
