Tractive MOTION

It’s pretty fun to see how much activity the dogs do everyday. We try to keep it consistent so it pushes us (the humans) to get up and walk outside even on a gloomy day just to keep the pet points up. It almost acts like our own fitness trackers too since the ‘exercise’ that we do is just walking the dogs everyday — rain or shine, snow or not. I wish there were more badges to obtain since it’s mainly collecting them is what keeps us going. We also hope to see other dogs’ profiles to see how much activity they do on an hourly basis. Are they active all day? Because we noticed that our dogs basically almost don’t move except for the walks. More badges and more possibilities for engagement please.

although the battery life could be longer

LOVE this thing and has really been eye opening about her activity while i work.

My son has a fit bit bracelet and he has fun trying to "beat" the dogs in a points battle for fitness. Our family likes to bet on the top ranking dog for the week and we will all take extra walks and be more active with our dogs to win this friendly competition. It has made my family and dogs more active. We love seeing what they did while we are gone and seeing our ranking against our family's dogs and the world ranking. The only thing that is slightly frustrating is that the app sometimes drops information. We don't think it is the devices, because it happens on everyone's apps and the devices still work, they just drop hours of tracking information and reads that it was not connected(no temp, ambient light, etc.) Other than that it has been fun and exciting to track our pets activity.
