I’m can definitely work in bursts, but this app insists that you work one task per day. There is one little workaround, if you skip an item you will be presented with an alternate option. Also nice if say you don’t own a car and the task is to clean out your glove compartment. I’ve already done a weeks worth of tasks and am very pleased with the direction and structure to no burn out.

I loved this app! I have a few ways I’d like to see it improved, though. 1. Let me do more than one task a day if I want. 2. More tasks. I got to the end of the list and could customize, and then it gave me a list of suggestions. If you have suggestions, put them in the rotation with the other tasks! If you need ideas, ask someone or do some research. There could easily be 365 tasks. Clearly, there are far fewer because I’ve used it for about 6 weeks and reached the end. 3. Let me skip/delete as many as I want to get to a task that applies. The reason I have the app is to make progress. I can’t do that if it says, ‘sorry, come Back tomorrow’ when I’m here now!!! I tried to open it numerous times today and it just crashes. 😢

The way the app seems to work is that it gives you an area of the house to work in and you get rid of items from that area. Sounds great right? Well... some of the areas are super old fashioned and many of them don’t relate to millennial living (people under 37). They’re like “clean out your hutch/sideboard of old candlesticks”—what is this, 1870? You can skip around to different tasks but it doesn’t look like there is a “skip back” function and also you can only skip three per day—what if none of them are things you are trying to get rid of? Not very functional. I wanted something like an app that just let me catalogue my accomplishments in what I got rid of—not one that narrowed the possibilities to only three choices.

I could go to the next task after one is complete. It’s perfectly a simple app and helps to keep me from straying from the decluttering mindset. It would be so great if I had a few extra minutes a day to do another task right away!! Please make the option?!

I don’t know about the developers but I have a lot more to do than clean out my underwear drawer. The tasks usually take me about five minutes, and I could do a lot more than one task in a day. I have inherited a lot of stuff and I need to get rid of a lot of stuff. I would like to be able to add my own tasks, and I would like to be able to do more than one task in a day. Especially during this time of isolation due to Covid.
