The Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism was formed in 1983 by a group of forward-thinking businessmen. The mission of the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is to promote and support the economic growth and civic well-being of our local community and membership. The Chamber serves the communities of Hampstead, Holly Ridge, North Topsail Beach, Sneads Ferry, Surf City, Scotts Hill, and Topsail Beach. The Chamber is governed by a nine-member, volunteer board of directors. Chamber staff members include one full-time executive director and a part-time events planner/tourism assistant and a part-time bookkeeper/tourism assistant. The Chamber is a voluntary business organization which supports its membership through promotions and marketing, networking, legislative updates, and educational opportunities. The Chamber promotes economic development and provides assistance to anyone seeking to relocate a business, establish a business, or visit the area in which tourism dollars will be spent.
