Often crashes during an episode and returns me back to the beginning of the episode instead of where I was up to. Whilst trying to find where I left off on a particular episode by scrolling the timer to where I think I was, I have to watch numerous ads repeatedly. On an hour episode there are at least 7 ad breaks which may have between 1-3 ads. The app itself is relatively easy to use but the main point of the app is watching episodes which can be quite painful and frustrating.

If I watch a whole show thru the app is ok but if you ever have to stop it often forgets where you are up to and then you have to watch all the ads at the beginning again before you can fast forward and then if you don’t stop in the right place , more ads before you can forward or back again. By the time you find your spots you have had to watch 3 or more sets of ads!!!

Useless on Apple TV. Apart from the basics of not even getting current program info on live TV you don’t even get “what’s up next or thereafter” come on media works!! Next is a pet gripe. I cannot even get it on my iPad. Yes it’s a little old but at least TVNZ streams fine, I try to watch ThreeNow and it keeps telling me to update the App. But there is nothing to update too. Wake up programmers. We cannot all afford to buy the latest phones and tablets. Not surprising that Media Works is being left behind and struggling. Very disgruntled.

It’s a good app that does the job. Very frustrating if it hasn’t saved where you’ve watched to, every time you try to find the place you last watched you have to suffer through ads...rather frustrating. Surely it could let you watch for 5 seconds to see if you’ve found where you’re up to before you see ads

Downloaded to watch an episode of a program I had missed, To many ad breaks glitchy program, but ads ran perfect so I can see where there interest is. It you accidentally stop or it stops it starts from the beginning again and with no controls you can’t skip to where you were. Media works it clearly does not. Deleted app.
