The Word Finder

The most recent update causes the app to freeze, even after closing the app and trying again. Takes 5 times to get it to work again. Please fix

So they took something simple and had to go and upgrade it. The line where you type the letters has something written on it but it can’t be read. Use a space...... can’t read the rest. Occasionally when I check with WWF the highest point value word is not on the word finder list. But then I’ve also been told that my opponent’s words are acceptable but when I try and play them they’re not. Frustrating.

While the app is a tremendous asset, during its most recent update I’ve had multiple issues with the app constantly freezing up. Can’t do anything except wait, close the app for a couple of minutes and reopen it!! But that doesn’t always work

Even though this is great as an app on my ipad/iphone, when using it on my computer online, it delivers a virus/bug. The app also does not include many acceptable wwf words and then gives words that are not accepted. Frustrating.

The best feature has been removed. Previously, you could enter existing letter or letters, indicating position (prefix, suffix or embedded). That feature was admittedly buggy, often throwing you completely out of the app. But most of the time, it worked. Now that feature is gone entirely. All that is left is a simple anagram tool, just like any other, without bells and whistles. Very disappointing.
