1.) Playground 1 is a collection of 12 different classic games for kids aged 2-6. The 12 games included in Playground 1 – Best of Edition are: • ERASE: Little ones who may not yet have the fine motor skills to draw or color can rub away the silver surface of each picture to discover what’s underneath! • DRAW: Free-draw on the blank canvas or choose one of 15 different animal scenes to color-in. Toddlers can use the paint bucket to tap and fill-in different colors, while older kids can choose from 3 different brush sizes. • PIANO: Fancy some music? Free play on a keyboard with the notes supplied by cats, frogs, cows or fish! • REMEMBER [ MUSIC ]: Just like the classic ‘Simon Says’ game, animals sing notes and your child has to repeat them in the same order. • FIND IT: See if you can spot all the differences in each of the 20 animal scenes. • PAIRS: This version of the classic matching game starts easy but includes 100 cards! • PUZZLE: 10 puzzles with 4 pieces each for the littlest ones and 40 additional puzzles with 8 pieces each for older kids. • ROLL: A ‘tap and turn’ game for children who would find the slider puzzles too much of a challenge. • SLIDER PUZZLE: With patience and persistence you CAN get the pieces in the right spot! • COLLECT: Help Mama fish through the mazes to collect her 5 little babies. • CATCH: Like ‘whack-a-mole’ you have to tap the animals as they pop up - but make sure you get the right ones! • COLORS: A fun, fishy, bubble flinging game. 2.) Logic Playground - 5 Games for Smart Children aged 4-7 years + Numbers and Counting from 1-10 in 9 languages The different games in the app are: • Tic Tac Toe or Noughts and Crosses. An ideal first game for young children as they learn the concepts of turn-taking and good sportsmanship. • 4 in a row. Simple but strategic. Like all the 2-player games in Logic Playground this one can either be played with a friend or played solo against the iDevice. • Shell game. Also known as Thimblerig - as the iDevice shuffles the shells, can you keep your eye on the one that contains the pearl? • Numbers. Three mini-games: matching numbers to dice faces, counting sea stars and practice writing numbers. • Mills. Older kids will love playing this game from the Roman Empire that’s easy to learn but challenging to win. • Color Code. A version of the board game Mastermind, this single-player code-breaking game uses fishes in bowls and has two levels of difficulty. 3.) Preschoolers ABC Playground is a collection of 6 activities and games for kids to learn the ABC plus reward system with a funny Yeti game. The 7 different sections in the app are: • FLASHCARDS. Introduce each upper case letter by both name and sound, together with a different animal to associate with every letter. You can also choose to trace each letter to demonstrate how it’s written. • ALPHABET. Three mini-games: The first exercise in this section shows upper and lower case letters. A matching game then gets your kids dragging and dropping upper case tiles onto their lower case counterparts. A third exercise asks your child to pair together upper case letters with the correct animals. • PAIRS. There are three versions of the classic memory card game in this section. Match upper case letters, upper and lower case letters or upper case letters and animal pairs. • WORDS. Unscramble letters to spell animal names. There are three different levels of difficulty - beginner, advanced and Pro. • PRACTICE. Gives your kid lots of practice tracing upper and lower case letters. • WRITE. A drawing board where children can practice on either a blank page or one with ruled lines. If they want to copy letters then there are tiles available that they can drag and drop onto the board. • YETI and his flying apple(core) - as a break, a reward or just for fun! If your child is spending too long playing this game then you can either limit their playtime in settings or hide the game completely.
