The Daily Shifts

Where to begin.. I’ve been on a slow and winding spiritual journey/awakening for years now. Sometimes I’m really “on it” when it comes to my own practice and sometimes I drop the ball. This app has helped me in so many ways! The notifications help remind me each day to keep it up. The tasks are simple, easy and still so so important. If anything it has helped keep me accountable and organized. It also gives me a sense of accomplishment. I love that I feel rewarded each time I engage with this app. My favorite features are by far the daily gratitude lists, simple meditations and the feature in which it challenges you to trust yourself (give yourself advice). By far this has been one of my favorite tools that helps me keep on track with my own practice. It has also been a light on some of my darkest days and a reminder that there is always the opportunity to better ourselves and re-center. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, no matter where you’re at in your own spiritual journey. It is worth every penny!

I’m a flight attendant and ALWAYS on the go, I love to engage Oprah and her spiritually conscious gurus: Berné Brown, Iyanla Vanzant, Eckhart Tolle and the likes via Oprah Super Soul Sunday, but sometimes that is more then I’ve got time for. This is where SHIFT comes to play, it’s compact and virtually available to me 24/7, I’ve shared this with friends, family, and co workers whom are often times busy adulting and sometimes need a solo “pick me up.” In a age of overly abundant tech apps , this is a standout that has true multi purpose. I have tried a ton of apps to help me be more accountable and the best version of myself. After years of books, apps, notes, papers and suggestions... SHIFT is the answer. It is the most interactive app out on the market that helps you be true to yourself and reach your full potential. I’d encourage anyone looking for a simple structured approach to being more intentional in your life to try out Daily Shifts. In full disclosure, I was a beta user and simply kept the app installed for the three daily reminders to be grateful, breathe, as it reminds me to think about my presence. I use a physical notebook to do daily planning, but it doesn’t cover all aspects. I have daily meditation and movement rituals, but I sometimes lose track of how well I’m keeping up. Shift covers the most important parts of keeping a routine up in the effort to show up best for yourself and others. Plus, it keeps the score through quantified data, trends, and tips to improve. Whether you keep track in a notebook or use the full app with what looks to be amazingly kept progress tracking and accountability, I hope everyone has success in their efforts to shift!
