The Coffee Club

Like the card, you can’t use it on oublic holidays BUT dtaff wont even scan the purchase to add rewards. Also you can’t use the loaded balance either on public holidays. Why? Because they won’t scan or scanning is not accepted on public holidays. Its a convenient app but conveniently limited that doesn’t reward as spruiked.

Ok,the app is a great idea as long as it does as stated which as far as I can see, nope. You can buy a VIP card, you can add bank card but no where can I find where you can add your existing VIP Card. So a bit of a let down but hopefully if enough people complain it will be fixed

So I went into a Coffee Club using this app. When I approached the counter after waiting in line I was immediately greeted with “are you the Uber Eats driver?” followed by a “the order has been waiting here 20 mins” in a very angry impatient tone. Just because I am brown I am not an Uber Eats driver. Why does your staff engage in racial stereotyping. This is very disappointing that Coffee Club has staff engaging in racist behaviour. Seriously why did you not greet me with a “hello, how can I serve you today?” Why make a racial stereotype instead. It’s very poor customer service and offensive. I also noted that the white customers before me never got asked if they were the Uber Eats driver. So now I have deleted this app and boycotted Coffee Club. Shame on you.

Now that I have worked out the VIP login, app has been handy not having to worry about carrying the card around. One slight issue, app doesn’t keep you logged in or remember your log in details. Other than that really useful ;)
