The Adventures of Tintin

I loved the Tintin books as a child - the beautiful detail of the drawings, the non stop adventure, epic landscapes espionage, corruption all tackled with fearless abandon by our hero (plus snowy & the captain). This second time around years later I wasn’t expecting to be so gripped and amused. Herge is a master storyteller (especially in his more mature works from the black island onwards) and although some passages have dated in 70 years Tintin’s swashbuckling decency still shines through. Forget the Spielberg disaster, these books are the only authentic way to understand the genius of Herge.

Oops. I totally love the app, but I made a whopper of a mistake thinking that if I bought all the albums for 54 pounds they would be in English. Stupidity! I bought, straight away realised my mistake and tried to correct. Sadly I can’t get a refund from the App Store as they say there is no refund for this purchase. 54 quid down the drain. Would have been happy to purchase the albums individually, but reticent to pay out even more money after my mistake. Awesome customer service from both Apple and Moulin art. All resolved. Thank you!

I have purchased the whole series on Apple Bookstore individually otherwise would buy this application which could cost me less. I will be grateful if the publisher can add on the last adventure named above to the Apple Bookstore in English please. It appears that this particular book is available in English through this application but it is missing individually in Apple Bookstore app.

Can I just say how amazing the team is to update the app and keep it fresh. It is always updated to the latest version of iOS and the latest iPad too, within just a few days of release. It is really appreciated, and it’s great to see the effort and commitment from Moulinsart in this app. Please keep up the great work!

The albums are great, clear digital art & easy buying methods with reasonable price tags. The English writings are a bit on a downside (-1star). I will be optimistic for video contents in near future (my advise for you). But overall, well done team Tintin & App team.
