Tennis League Network

If you want to play competitive tennis, or even casual tennis but with a bit of competition, you have to seriously consider this. I joined in 2012 and have played every season since (minus one because of injury) because it’s run effectively and had players of so many levels. If you play USTA, it’s a great way to find matches that prepare you for tournaments. If you don’t play USTA, it’s a great way to add some competitive and friendly tennis to your experience. From my personal experience, there are many options available for casual and serious players 4.5 NTRP and below. The cost of the league is incredibly reasonable. The flexibility of scheduling makes this a go-to for any player wishing to add a variety of tennis partners to their tennis experience. Without naming other apps, this is the only one that I’ve found to be consistent and reliable. Others have tried and failed.

I have been playing in this league for 4+ years now. It’s a great way to make new tennis friends and to get some competitive play in. Sacramento Tennis has provided the network for me to play many different players with different styles of play, and to make friends with that I can practice and play tennis with long-term. This has been a great way for me to develop and maintain my playing consistency and for me to improve my game. I highly recommend this network for tennis play. It is competitive, but definitely less pressure compared to some of the USTA tournaments and leagues. I don’t look at this league as a replacement to my USTA league play - but rather a supplement that has a lot of benefits in terms of improved my play and making tennis partner friends.

After decades away from the sport I joined Tennis-Austin in Fall18 as I wanted to play more to improve my skills and supplement my work out routine. I found no shortage of others at my 3.0-3.5 level who are doing the same. Everyone is supportive of each other during the match, it’s super easy to find and schedule multiple matches during the week (if that’s what you want), the competition is very equal with tiered skill levels from rec to elite, and I can say I’ve made new friends in the process. Plus, it’s helped keep me on my exercise plan and I am healthier because of it. I Highly recommend this program!

After I recently moved to Milwaukee, I was looking for some people to play tennis with on a schedule that worked for me. I stumbled upon the Milwaukee branch of the Tennis League Network and was so happy I did. I was able to get as many matches in per week as I wanted to and made so many new friends in the process! It rekindled my love for tennis and had me wanting to get back on the court several times per week. No matter you’re skill level, if you’re looking for fun tennis in your area that works for your schedule, I highly recommend you give it a try!

After years of not playing, I decided to enter this league in 2016 because it was more affordable than other local leagues and I wasn’t sure about my skill level after such a long time away. I loved the network and atmosphere so much, however, that I’ve decided to stay. Steve and his team have built a fantastic system that makes it easy to just play tennis on your own schedule and I appreciate everything they’ve done. I look forward to continuing to play each coming season!
