Super Starfish

so when I saw this I was like, ‘super starfish?’ ‘I don’t see no starfish!’ Then I actually GOT the game, and. . W O W. . BEST GAME EVER, BRST GRAPHICS EVER, but one little thing, how about actually adding starfish? Just a suggestion, maybe ironic? I’m not sure tho. I’ve had this game BEFORE the first update, but still haven’t gotten a single rare starfish, and only one rare star plant. That’s the only thing I see wrong with the game - rare things are crazy hard to get (RARE-DICTIONARY MEANING-hard to get and elusive and stuff~actually that’s my definition, but eh, details) and crazy hard to save up for. 100 moon gems? Crystals, whatever I have bad memory, I can’t remember. I find it difficult to save up for them even with the new missions update (which made the game INCREDIBLY more fun) . Soo. . There’s my one and only review! don’t stop doing whatever you’re doing developers!

My daughter made my mother download it, I’ve got it and so does my husband. We all love it. We were fans of Sling Kong so when this came out we gave it a try and we are seriously loving it. It’s beautiful, it has educational elements and the challenges aren’t too impossible. We can navigate quite easily to make them move swiping across the screen and it’s so much fun. My only suggestion is maybe making it easier to clear rocks and/or not having to tap ‘continue’ each time you return. Those are minor though because this game is great for the whole family (we’re 7-31).

This game is not only entertaining to play but beautifully designed and crafted, I was amazed by both how responsive it is and how elegant the visual and sound graphics are- and I very much enjoyed how the outside of gameplay “refuge” gives the whole game a sense of purpose. I find myself striving to play and even optionally watching ads just to get to see more of the wonderful “starfish”. Lovely unique game, with just the right amount of ads, easily playable without having to spend real world money and effortlessly beautiful. Would recommend to anyone.

I’ve progressed quite far into the game (got all the current fish) and I’m happy about the last update, e.g. the mini quests to find moonstones. However, by only adding one species of fish at a time // 5 fish, the game itself takes another 1/2 days to obtain the next set of fish making me not touch the game until the next update which is a shame because it’s beautiful and fun to play. Take your time on the next update, add an array of new fish, maybe even some new plant species or something new altogether! it’s got all the great facets of a promising game but the content is limited in a way which is very frustrating and often makes me contemplate deleting the app.

I’ve only been playing this game for about a week now and I’m simply addicted. Gorgeous graphics, lovely sound design and simple controls make this a great game to play. I agree with lots of the previous reviews there are a few things that would make this game better: 1. Make the in game stars mean something, maybe every 100 stars = 1 shell, this would also make shells easier to acquire 2. Make the rocks less expensive to clear, even after the updates moonstones are still hard to come by and I don’t like wasting them on rocks 3. Make the shop into an actual shop, not just daily specials, let us browse a store and purchase things with shells 4. Give different fish different special traits because at the moment I just play with the fish I like the look of the most. Overall I think this is a gorgeous game and I really love playing it, it’s just going really slowly with gaining new fish and decorations.
